Area formula

The area formula is a formula used in mathematics to calculate the area of a plane or solid figure. The following is the area formula for common graphs:

 

1.Rectangular area formula: S=ab,     where a and b are length and width respectively

2.Square area formula: S=a^2,     where a is the length of the side.

3.The triangle area formula is S=ab÷2,    where a and b are base and height.

4.The parallelogram area formula is S=ab,    where a and b are the base and height, respectively.

5.The trapezoidal area formula is: S= (a+b) ×h÷2,     where a and b are upper and lower bases, and h is high.

6.The formula for the area of a circle is S=πr^2,     where r is the radius.

7.The sector area formula is S=πr^2×n/360,    where r is the radius and n is the center Angle (expressed in degrees).

8.The formula for the area of a circle is S=π(R^2-r^2),    where R is the radius of a large circle and r is the radius of a small circle.

9.Diamond area formula: S= half of the diagonal product.

10.Cube surface area formula: S=6a^2,    where a is the length of the edge.

11. Cuboid surface area formula: S=2 (ab+ac+bc),    where a, b, c are length, width and height respectively.

12. The formula for the surface area of a sphere (positive sphere) is S=4πr^2,    where r is the radius.

 

The above formula can be used to calculate the area of the corresponding figure. Note that for three-dimensional graphics, other formulas need to be used to calculate the volume or surface area.
